My deep affection for real estate began in 1997 when my wife and I bought our first home—a tiny 1927 Spanish Revival bungalow in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. I have always loved the character, craftsmanship, and story that a home holds. Over nearly three decades, from those early days in California managing my own rentals to my full-time work in Arizona today, that passion for historic architecture and sound property investment has only grown.
For me, real estate is not a short-term financial gamble. It is a compound asset built on patience, discipline, and responsible leverage. In the early years, smart leverage allowed us to acquire foundational properties and let time build compounding equity. As those assets matured into full equity, that strong position became a financial fortress—a natural hedge against market volatility and a quiet reserve to capture new opportunities through every economic cycle, including the 2008 downturn.
Today, my family lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, in an Andalusian and hacienda-style home where I’ve cultivated a small food forest in the backyard. Moving to Arizona in 2005 and guiding clients through their own real estate journeys has been an incredible privilege. Whether helping an investor build long-term portfolio equity or helping a family find a characterful sanctuary to plant roots and community, I approach every transaction with absolute integrity, proven experience, and a genuine love for the places we call home.
